We'd finished recording "Full of Holes". We had a few hours left, late at night. My voice was shot from talking too loud, too long, too much the night before.

And there was this song, this song that shared some lines with "Full of Holes", that I'd written because I couldn't help it.

And a shredded voice and three hours seemed about perfect.
